We also know that community starts when conversations and connections happen, especially over great drinks in a cozy corner coffee shop atmosphere. As a small, locally-owned establishment, we serve exceptional drinks and sweets with a local flavor, not another unremarkable chain coffee shop experience. We want everyone to feel at home, whether they are visiting loved ones on the Abbott Northwestern and Children’s hospitals, healthcare providers or live just around the corner.

Black Bean Coffee is located just south of downtown Minneapolis in The Phillips neighborhood, one of the most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods in the state.  Home to several large employers, including Allina Health Care Services and Wells Fargo Mortgage, Phillips is a melting pot both in terms of resident demographics and a wide mix of industrial, commercial and residential zoning.  With so much of the city hustling and bustling in our part of town, we are excited to provide a relaxing oasis just outside of downtown.
